Many times, I get asked how I am able to read as many blogs as I do daily.
I will make an admission here though. I have to cut back quite a bit from my early days, because to be honest there just isn’t enough time in the day and sometimes now I read more on my iPad or iPhone rather then my MacBook when I am on the go and can’t always leave a comment, especially for those who are Blogger based, but I always try to share if I can’t comment.
But still I credit one site for helping me reach many different blogs daily to read and share with.
That site is indeed BlogLovin. I shared here how to increase your stats using BlogLovin and here how to alert your subscribers and readers that you are indeed on BlogLovin.
Today, I want to give all an overall guide on why BlogLovin is so special and why all should be using it to help read more of their favorite blogs daily.
See when I first started blogging over at Confessions of A Mommyaholic, I realized rather quickly that I was not alone in this blogging gig. Tons and millions of people blog daily. In order to blog successfully, you need to not only write on your own blog, but connect with other bloggers who have common interests and goals as yourself.

See in blogging you should not ever feel like you are the only person stranded on a desert island. Instead you should feel connected to many other bloggers daily just as you would anywhere you worked or hung out.
For this reason, it is essential that you not only write and answer comments on your own blog, but also read and share on other blogs, as well.
This can be very overwhelming. Some say you have a blog tribe. I think they are truly correct on this.
I will tell you I have read many blogs since I started. Some I still read and some to be honest I don’t. What has made me stick around for those that I still do read is common interests, as well as the fact that they we have become almost friends through this gig called blogging.
Therefore these bloggers that I do read and share with daily have become in a sense my wolf pack (to quote the Hangover movie) or my tribe.
How to I keep in the loop as to when my favorites do post on a daily basis?
Quite simple once again through BlogLovin!
See, I have followed many bloggers through Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and even Instagram. While I love each of the social network site for my own reasons, BlogLovin is the one place where I can follow the blogs that I do read and what to keep up with all their latest posts.
Let’s be honest, there are many blogs out there and you just can’t read them all, but if you have some that are on the top of your reading list, then you will want to use BlogLovin. Through this one site, you can be alerted as soon as a new blog post has been published by the bloggers you have grown to love and respect.
How can you use BlogLovin to your benefit? Follow the three top tips below:
1. Follow only those blogs you do want to read and keep up with.
In the beginning, I followed many different blogs on BlogLovin. I soon realized that I just couldn’t keep up with them all. I have learned to go through my followed blogs about once a month to make sure I am following all I want to on there, as well as make sure that all blogs are current that I am following. No matter what sometimes a Blogger just stops blogging for whatever reason and you are now following a defunct blog. There is no need to follow a blog no longer being written on or in existence. It is sad when this happens, but for whatever reason, you just have to respect the blogger’s decision and therefore delete it so that it doesn’t clutter up your BlogLovin blog feed.
2. How can I make it even to find the blogs I love to read?
One word and one word only – Groups! Make organized BlogLovin groups and add your different blogs to the appropriate groups. It truly doesn’t make finding those special blog posts by authors you love that much easier.
3. Giving Props to Those Bloggers Who You Do Read and Follow
One of the features I best love on BlogLovin on there then the groups feature is the “Save” button. It is a little red heart button that allows you after you read a post you enjoyed to “Like” it and let others on BlogLovin know that this is a post worth reading by your little heart shaped vote. May not seem much, but this just shows that extra bit of support to those you already love and follow.
Honestly, BlogLovin is truly the best place to be able to follow all your favorite blogs in one concise place, so that you can read those new blog articles by those special bloggers that you do enjoy reading. It is easy to use, fairly straight forward and just simplifies the blog reading experience. So, I can’t help, but give it two thumbs up and huge recommendations to help those who do read blogs daily to do just that and be able to read more of their favorites in one place.
Happy Blog Reading!
I just wrote a guest post on why I love Bloglovin’. It is a handy tool for following and grouping blogs. Glad I’m connected to bloggers like YOU through this format:)

Aw, me too Seana and would love to read your guest post. Leave me a link if you can 🙂
I love Bloglovin’ but quite frankly, haven’t had the time to pop on there lately. I’ve been so busy with replying to comments (and then paying a reciprocal visit) as well as visits with the SHINE Blog Hop, that I rarely get to go on Bloglovin anymore.
I love it for its groups function. So awesome.
Thanks for sharing (and for linking up to the #SHINEbloghop).
Wishing you a lovely day.
xoxo

I know about getting busy, but do love BlogLovin as it does make it easier to catch up during these types of times especially. Thanks for hosting once again and wishing you a lovely week ahead now, too!! 🙂
I haven’t been in bloglovin’ in a long time. I use Reeder on the Mac. I mostly read from the computer. One thing I don’t like about reader is sometimes you comment within reader and it doesn’t take. So I’m always careful to open a post in Safari before I comment but that’s just too many steps.
I have never used Reeder, but not going to lie, I like being able to comment on my iPhone or iPad when need be, so that is a big plus for BlogLovin for me to be quite honest.
Hi, nice post. Do you know how to get Bloglovin to only pull an excerpt for mobile uses? I ve notice that on desktop it just jumps to an in-frame page of my site.
Thanks, Julianna. I would recommend contacting BlogLovin Help to see if they can take a look at your site to help with this in all honesty. Their tech support is pretty helpful and think they would be able to answer this for you.
