Tutorials and my general knowledge are shared here pretty much weekly if you read and follow my blog where I usually post on Tuesdays new articles right now.
I have given my take on many key blogging issues recently, such as starting a blog to monetizing with sponsored posts, how to get more readers to even Pinterest Button Tutorials, too.
But sometimes, as great of ideas as I have to share (and I still have a few in my back pocket), I would love for you my readers to weigh in and share with me your questions, concerns or needs for your own blogs.
Help! – As the famous Beatles song goes…Bloggers – What can I help you with?
Today, I thought I would open up this article space and ask for your feedback as to what you feel you could use help with.
My thought, here, is if you would be so kind to leave me your thoughts on this in the comments’ section below what has possibly been on your mind that you could use more information and help with as far as your own blog is concerned.
I am hoping from this, I can either answer the questions quickly – as in a return comment below or if it is more of a tutorial or article topic that warrants more of an explanation that a short comment, that I can expand upon the topic or question at hand in upcoming and future articles where I can back link to your comment and blog giving you full credit for the question at hand if you would like me to.
So once again today, if you do have a concern, question or blog need, please feel free to leave me a comment below with this. I will gladly answer here and if it is indeed future article worthy, will let you know, as well as ask if you want to quoted and linked back to your blog.’
If I think of anything, I will definitely ask 🙂
Aww, thanks and please do feel free to ask me!! 🙂
Love the resource Janine. I will know where to run the next time I have a question.
Thanks!

Yay and so happy to help when you do need it, Shari! 🙂
Janine,
Perfect timing for this post! After 2 years of trying, I was finally accepted to Blog Her. So, any suggestions or post on maximizing this opportunity with regards to Blog Her would be terrific. How does Swoop fit in? Should we write a post about Blog Her to help promote them? Do we get offered posts to write about? What is the best spot to place the ads? Truly, any information would be must considered.
Blessings,
Diane Roark

I love you Diane and seriously was hoping to get some great questions here and definitely didn’t fail me on this. First off, huge congrats on finally being accepted and seriously couldn’t be happier. As for the placement of ads, I know first and foremost, BlogHer likes their ads placed above the fold (meaning usually right at the top of your sidebar) for the best exposure. I am not sure what Swoop fit means, but can definitely look into this further for you and get back to you soon. As for exposure and posts, I do mostly advertising with them and not so much posting, but was asked to post in the post sponsored posts (if this is what you mean) and know sharing all over (social networks helps), but know you know how to do this for all and any posts and are a pro at this. If there is anything else BlogHer or blog related keep them doing and ask away, because so happy to help you always 🙂
How do you keep up with all of your social media? It’s crazy hard. I know there are programs, but I just need someone to tell me to buy this one, not this one and then do this. 🙂 🙂

Jen, I love this question and in the process of doing more research as I had been using Co-Schedule, endorsed them even and then they dropped Pinterest sharing, which was a no go for me. Will keep you posted – promise.
Thank you so much for helping other bloggers like you do. I am also interested in knowing more about Blog Her. I have not applied to join Blog Her but am thinking I should find out more about it. Got a link to a post I should read?
Sinea, I am so happy to help and I don’t have a link offhand on BlogHer, but I could totally try to help with whatever specific questions you. I have been a part of BlogHer for over 2 years and am also an Social Media Influencer. So, you can pick my brain and if it is something that requires more of a lengthy answer might even try to write up a post in the upcoming weeks. So, just let me know 😉
This may be too early to ask, but what are your thoughts on Ello? I have an invite but I haven’t set up my account yet. Are you on it? Do you think it’ll be a good space for bloggers?

I admit I have never heard of this and just took a quick look, but does look like it is invite only. If I get invited, I would be happy to check it out and see what I can find out totally though.
Hey Jen,
Based on what little I know, which isn’t much, I would be surprised if it’s a great place for bloggers. As you know, they are touting themselves as the anti-Facebook, which I LOVE.
Thank you so much, James and when looked like last night after Jen asked I got the same impression as you mentioned here, too.
Hey lovey!!! I’m BACK and trying to start the relentless ‘catching up’… good Lord help me! Okay- so…
I don’t understand stumble upon. I just don’t get it!! And also? I don’t use fb fan page anymore, because- well it sucks and I never get anything seen anyway so I gave up. Should I try again and engage with the page or is it not worth it? Also- I don’t use social media enough. I still don’t see how Pinterest works to increase traffic as I pin and don’t see any real traffic coming from it. So I guess I need more info on that too… or what you like best for social media outlets to gain more traffic.
How’s that for a jet lagged exhausted gal? Oh, there’s more… so if you want it- I will share!! Just let me know!!!
LOVE YOU!!!

Aww, so glad to see you back and as for StumpleUpon, I know so many that love it, but the thing is you cannot Stumple your own stuff, so you have to rely on the kindness of others to Stumple for you, while you Stumple for them. Not necessarily bad, but still quite annoying that you just can’t Stumple your own content. As for Social Media, I am crushing big time on Pinterest (just wrote an article here on how to gain more viewers using Pinterest) and Instagram, too. And still loving Twitter, except for the fact that sometimes it still just goes too fast for me, but still. However, Facebook is not one of my favorites since they shared the way things get shared and having to pay to get noticed. I hope this answered your questions, if not and you still have more, write me back and will totally see what I can do for you (anything for you!!). Love you!!
Good to know there is a place and resource if I have questions!

Aww, thanks Jenny and so glad that I can help if need be 🙂
I love this. You know I don’t hesitate to ask my questions about blogging. Since I’ve transferred from Blogger to WordPress almost a year ago now, I’ve noticed that my posts that I transferred from there have pictures that have been removed. Do I really have to go back and put in all the pictures again? Hahaha! Oh and if you have any idea why this happened, I will definitely be grateful to learn something new. 🙂
Brittnei recently posted…Thankful During My Highs And Lows
I know when you transfer the images usually are there but need to be imported and you can usually use a plugin for this. Do you see the images at all like on the side of the post asking to be imported?
Thank you so much for hosting a Q&A like this. The fact that you are asking us to ask ANY questions is HUGE. 🙂
My question is how do best manage your time?? Do you use a planner, do you do it digitally? What are your secrets!?
Jillian @ Baby Doodah! recently posted…Social Media Mixer – #19
Absolutely my pleasure and seriously so happy that I can help. As for managing time, I try my best with this. In the early days of blogging for myself anything went, but now I have a schedule of days I do publish new articles, time set aside to read others I follow new blog articles, as well as time to respond to comments. I use a blog planner on my computer, as well as something called ‘sticky notes’ app on my Mac Book to keep a log of things to do daily on my desktop as a reminder, too. All these things have helped me schedule out and manage my blogging better now.
How great to have you!! I was wondering when was a good time to set up a media kit and/or page? And do you have any posts on that or can you recommend the best place to get this info?
Thanks so much for offering up your help!!

Bobbi, I think as long as you are interested in making income from blogging, an advertising page is a great way to start giving rates, as well as your social media numbers/info, as well. I actually wrote about this more in depth here: https://j9designs.net/2014/08/05/sponsored-posts-now-accepting/. If you still need any help on this, please let me know and would be happy to try and advise you any way I can still 🙂
I’d like to learn how to put a Pinterest Pin It button on my blog pictures. If you have a “…version for dummies” format, I sure would appreciate the help! followed you from Snickerdoole linky party
Aww, thank you for following me and I actually just shared this all in a recent article here: https://j9designs.net/2014/09/09/pinterest-pin-it-button-tutorial/. So, hope this helps and if anything, please feel free to ask me. Again very happy to be able to help you with this 😉
Hey Janine…this post was one of the most viewed on the blog hop this week so guess what? You’ll be featured. Yipee!
Omg, thank you so much Sinea. You made my Sunday night!! Hugs to you and have a great week ahead!! 😉
Ever since you posted this I have been thinking about how I want to pick your brain haha! I’d love to get more involved in communities, The SITS girls being one of the main ones on my list. How do you suggest I do that? And how do you find the time to be so involved? Thanks!!!
Kim @ HappyPrettyBlog recently posted…Words To Live By
Thanks Kim and I believe you already belong to SITS (correct?). Have you joined the forums, yet? If you haven’t yet, you can here: http://sitsgirlsforum.com/ and jump in on the conversations. Also, I just do my best, but trust me I am far from perfect and have learned to take time away when I need. Like I was off the grid this morning for a book fair for Emma at school and try my best to be off in the evenings and weekends for my family, too. I have tried my best to balance my online presence with my offline presence, but still nothing is perfect and have had my moments, too.
I am! Thanks for the advice!
