Fonts can make or break a designed image.
Yet, as much as I am a huge fan of Photoshop and use it primarily for my design clients, I still have a go to program for quick design projects, which of course is, PicMonkey, but they have had a limited use of fonts to use up until recently.
Also, I know I have mentioned PicMonkey on my blog here quite often giving them two thumbs up time and again. For more on them, look here.
Well, now I have to give them another shoutout and share their latest feature add-on for all your design needs.
In the past (as I mentioned above), when you would use them to design, you could only use their limited fonts and even if you subscribed you could only use all the fonts that they had in their font book.
But now all of this has changed for the better!
Now, you can use whatever fonts are indeed uploaded onto your computer. For me, this is absolutely awesome, as I have so many fonts from all my design work uploaded on my computer.
So, I can now essentially use any of the fonts I have access to on my computer – pretty much to infinity and back with fonts.
Seriously, this is a huge improvement and brings PicMonkey one step closer to being one of the best quick design sites out there for any and all design needs for all – designers included.
As, I know many that read this do already use PicMonkey and are familiar with it, but just in case you are in need of any help on using PicMonkey, click here.
love it! Thanks for sharing this tip!

Aww, totally my pleasure, Alexa!! 🙂
I am obsessed with PicMonkey!!!
Me too, Robin 🙂
I think PicMonkey is great, although I don’t use it nearly enough. I think this is a step in the right direction because fonts are one of those things that can make a huge difference in personalizing an image… making it unique. I’ll be checking this feature out for sure!

I couldn’t agree more Seana and will tell you I think this is such a wonderful and great step for PicMonkey helping to make this program even more user friendly 🙂
I love PicMonkey, too, and was thrilled to hear about this new feature! I haven’t tried it yet, though.

Christa, I literally had to try it as soon as I heard about it. I know I have design issus, but still think you are going to love it 🙂
I have never used picmonkey but you and Julie D. Both seem to love it. I’m so limited in what I can actually do on design and what not. Well you know I’m challenged:) lol. I may have to try it when I get my other bugs worked out.

I know and was so happy now that I can use all my own fonts, too 🙂
Janine,
I use PicMonkey Every Day. Most days, I use it several times a day, but I have never noticed this new feature. I just went to check it out. I look forward to trying it later today.
Blessings,
Diane Roark
Yay, so happy you can use this and that I could share this with you, Diane!! 🙂
I always appreciate your informative posts. Each little tip or suggestion helps me to continually make my blog better. I have recently just begun to use pic monkey. The availability to use my own fonts…priceless!

Absolutely my pleasure always Shari and I know this new feature is totally priceless to me, too!! 🙂
Very nice! I’m still not using pic monkey. I so wish it was an app. Making a picture graphic is the one thing that gets me away from sitting in front of my computer. I use apps on my phone.
Now I am impressed that you do photo editing on your phone! Seriously, I do some, but only very basic and I have seen your photos, they are amazing – so you may need to teach us all a few things on this 🙂
I love Picmonkey. Yes, I will try them I love each and every feature they offer. 🙂

I’ve seen the recent change in PicMonkey where it says Yours under fonts but I didn’t realize it meant you can use whatever ones you have on your computer! Thanks for sharing that with us, Janine!

I love their new fonts feature. I use my own fonts all the time. I often download new fonts, so it’s great to use that option. Thanks for sharing with Creative Style!

April, I know I totally use my own fonts on Photoshop all the time, so it nice to be ale to use them here, too and do some quick designing and editing here, as well.
I’m just now starting to use PicMonkey, so thanks for the tip. I’ve seen that feature but I did not know what it meant.
